El Dorado Rum The Last Casks 1998 Diamond & Tri-Canada 49,1% 70 cl

#303124

A rare, final edition

The El Dorado The Last Casks – 1998 is a remarkable limited-edition rum that pays tribute to the last remaining batch from a 1998 blend, featuring rums from the iconic Diamond Coffey Still and the now-discontinued Tri-Canada Redistillation Still. Aged for 24 years in ex-bourbon barrels under the tropical conditions of Guyana, this rum was expertly crafted by the late Master Distiller George Robinson. Bottled in 2022 at cask strength (49.1%) and non-chill filtered, this rum captures the essence of its heritage.

Dark golden amber hue

This limited-edition release is truly special, as it comes from the final lot of rums blended in 1998, including some from the Tri-Canada Redistillation Still, which has since been decommissioned. Aged entirely in Guyana, this rum represents the pinnacle of long-term tropical aging, bringing forward a deep, rich character developed over 24 years.

The El Dorado 1998, 24 Year Old boasts a striking dark golden amber colour, reflecting its long aging in oak barrels and the unique blend of stills used in its creation.
