As the original American Dry Gin, Bluecoat is in a class by itself. Handcrafted in the birthplace of America, Philadelphia PA and in small batches to ensure quality and consistency in every bottle. Made with 100% certified organic botanicals using Angelica, Coriander, Juniper, and a blend of sweet American Citrus Peel, providing a more distinctively flavorful spirit. Bluecoat Gin was named in honor of the soldiers that fought for America’s Independence in the Revolutionary War. Celebrates the independent spirit of these free thinking revolutionaries and the notion of sacrificing for the greater good. Distilled in a custom, hand-hammered copper pot still, Bluecoat Gin represents the pinnacle of artisanal craft spirits. Only the smoothest, most flavorful cuts are bottled. The unique still design, similar to a traditional whiskey still, allows distillers to manipulate and enhance the distillation process to produce a delicate spirit with a refreshingly light taste.

BOTANICALS

JUNIPER BERRIES
All gin begins with juniper; Bluecoat is no exception. However, our organic Mediterranean berries are unique in that they transmit rich, fruity, spicy, earthy notes.

AMERICAN CITRUS BLEND
While London Dry gins are typically dominated by juniper flavoring, Bluecoat presents a complex, yet light and refreshing citrus blend, comprising primarily of sweet citrus and lemon peels.

ANGELICA ROOT
A perfect counterpart for our citrus notes, balancing the body with its soft, slightly sweet, and woodsy profile.

CORIANDER SEEDS
The addition of coriander lends a delicate floral and slightly vegetal background, allowing the more prominent botanicals to come to the fore.

TASTING NOTES

Nose : highly aromatic and fragrant. Precise notes of orange blossom and tangerine. Floral and spiced notes, ginger.
