El Jolgorio Arroqueño is made from Arroqueño agave (Agave Americana), a species prized for its large size and long maturation period. After 16 years, this agave produces a mezcal that is both complex and bold, with deep earthy and herbal notes that make it a standout among artisanal mezcals.
Bottled at 52% ABV, El Jolgorio Arroqueño is a powerful, full-bodied mezcal with a rich flavour profile. Its high alcohol content is balanced by the delicate sweetness and smoky undertones that come from roasting the agave in underground volcanic stone ovens.
Produced by master distiller Pedro Vasquez at the Tío Pedro distillery in Lachiguí, Oaxaca, this mezcal follows time-honoured methods. The agave is ground by a tahona, fermented with mountain water in wooden vats, and distilled twice in copper stills. Each bottle represents a careful blend of tradition and expertise.
Part of a limited edition, this mezcal is both CRM and Kosher certified, ensuring high quality and adherence to sustainable practices. Each bottle is a testament to the art of mezcal production in Oaxaca.
