El Jolgorio Madrecuishe is a mezcal joven crafted entirely from the Madrecuishe agave (A. Karwinskii), a wild variety known for its distinctive flavour. With a 12-year maturation period, this agave offers a complex and rich profile. The mezcal is produced using traditional methods, including underground volcanic stone ovens and tahona stone grinding, ensuring its deep connection to Oaxacan heritage.

Bottled at 48% ABV, El Jolgorio Madrecuishe delivers a powerful, yet smooth, drinking experience. The mezcal undergoes double distillation in copper stills, which refines its bold flavours, making it perfect for sipping.

 

Crafted by a master distiller

This mezcal is expertly distilled by Gregorio Martínez Jarquín at the De Cortés distillery in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, known as the mezcal capital of the world. Each bottle is part of a limited batch edition, ensuring a unique tasting experience.
