Brandy Crusta

Created in the 1850s by Joseph Santini, an Italian in New Orleans, USA. The name refers to the crust of sugar around the rim. This cocktail is regarded by many as the forerunner of the other classic cocktail Sidecar.

Ingredients

• 40ml Merlet Brothers Blend VSOP Cognac⁠

• 10ml Merlet Trois Citrus⁠

• 7,5ml Luxardo Maraschino liqueur⁠

• 15ml Lemon juice⁠

• 2 dash Scrappy´s Aromatic bitter⁠

• Glass: Belem Champagne 120 ml

• Garnish: Lemon peel and sugar rim

Step 1

Add the ingredients listed to a shaker.

Step 2

Add ice and shake.

Step 3

Strain into a collins glass.

Step 4

Garnish.
