Founded in 1753, Hampden Estate has been distilling rum for almost three centuries in the
Trelawny Parish, historically known as the grand cru of Jamaican rum.
Produced with unique and partly secret methods that have remained unchanged since the 18th century, Hampden Estate rum has a distinct and iconic aromatic profile.
Rum Fire was developed with the clear intention of crafting a white rum that remained true to the
heavy pot still style of Hampden Estate.
Made from molasses that go through extended fermentations conducted by wild yeasts, it acquires the unique and funky aromatic profile that Hampden Estate is world-famous for.
The distillation takes places in copper pot stills, yielding an intensely aromatic, high-ester white rum. Unique, bold and full of tropical notes, Rum Fire packs a lot of complexity and brings enough personality to add depth to a large array of cocktails.
Profile: Powerful and funky.
Nose: Explosive and fruity. Overripe banana,
mango, pineapple, full-on spices, green olive and
smoke notes.
