In the EMEA zone, Monin is proud to embrace more transparency by offering 100% natural flavors, with over 85% natural coloring and absolutely no artificial preservatives (excluding sauces, concentrates, and fruit mixes), believing in bringing you the pure essence of nature in every sip.

Plantations

Yuzu Orchard, Beja, Portugal:
Embark on a citrusy journey with Monin's own Yuzu orchard, spanning 26 hectares. With four dedicated employees, they've cultivated 10 tons of yuzu fruit this year, ensuring quality and sustainability.

Vanilla Plantation, Madagascar:
In Madagascar, the 16-hectare vanilla plantation not only yields 185 kg of vanilla annually but also supports the local community. The commitment extends to education, symbolized by the school foundation laid by Olivier in July 2023.

Tree Nursery:
Nurturing the environment, Monin has planted 13 hectares with 350 varieties, ranging from apple and pear to prune and cherry. Six full-time individuals work passionately to grow a diverse range of trees.

Syrup for Bees:
For over 15 years, Monin Americas has been contributing to bee sustainability by donating syrup overages to bee farmers. The syrup donations from Florida and Nevada plants help feed millions of bees during seasonal shortages.

Water

The dedication to water sustainability is evident in the journey to reduce water usage. From 2.9 liters in 2017 to 1.8 liters today, the aim is to further reduce it to approximately 1.3 liters by 2025. Additionally, they aim to decrease wastewater discharge by 80% by 2025, showcasing the responsibility to the environment.

Packaging

In the spirit of ecodesign, Monin is on a mission for a greener approach. The goal is to reduce packaging weight by 15%. January 2024 marks the debut of an eco-friendly cardboard box.

They're committed to improving recyclability by filling 50% RPET 1L bottles, with ongoing studies to switch from PP to RPET.

Community

The commitment extends to the community, with initiatives like supporting educational know-how since 2019. Monin has sponsored 44 scholarships, trained 24 teachers, and impacted 800 students through workshops. From the Pret Foundation to the MONIN Village in Brazil, dedicated to making a positive impact on lives.
